Kinda Back

We tend to learn far more from a mind that is cantankerous and restless

Love that quote from the meditation app that I use. Sometimes our best thoughts and realizations come out when life seems messed up.

That pain in a neck that I had was a bit worse than I realized, and I ended up having to go to physical therapy. For a week or two I was banned from all screens, even my phone, then I was allowed to use the computer in small increments of time.

I have been using my screen reader a bit, but even that is a little difficult. Sounds horrible, and parts of are/were a bit frustrating, but I have found a new peace and contentment and happiness in life with a forced relaxation. I didn’t get to travel the world on my sabbatical, but I am able to focus on doing exercises to relieve pain.

I miss blogging, and I miss reading blogs, but for a while I will have to approach both in fits and spurts. When I do read the blogs, I’m not commenting as much as usual. Frankly, the computer usage hurts. I’m dictating, so please excuse any misspellings, odd words, etc. Unless it’s really awful, I don’t plan to go back and edit.

My goal is to heal enough to get back to my job in early September, and my physical therapist says it’s possible, but it’s going to take a lot of work and self-discipline (from screen time). Just wanted to let you all know what is going on. I look forward to healing and eventually catching up on the writing from all your blogs I follow.

Hopefully I will be back in the game soon, but for now, I am enjoying doing the off screen activities I am capable of doing. So thankful for the beautiful area I live in. I’m sharing some of that beauty in my featured image.
