The Salmon Run mall in Watertown, NY is deceptive. It looks like an average mall, but inside it holds one of the coolest pieces of artwork I have ever seen. It rings, clacks, taps and makes other wonderful whimsical sounds. I finally recorded it (and in the video below you can see info on the artist).

Not only is it fantastic in person, but I’ve discovered that it brings great joy in video form as well. My friend’s three-year-old son begs to watch it every time I visit 🙂
