While I was blown away by the beauty of the moon and stars last night, I think my favorite part of the eclipse was knowing that so many people I love – all around the world – were looking at the same moon and appreciating it, too. It made me feel closer to my loved ones.

Your cousin Lise had a good view of the moon in Copenhagen. In North Carolina we had heavy clouds and drizzly rain. I was thankful for those who not only saw the moon, but shared it so we could see it.
Lise was one of the people I had in mind when I wrote that 🙂
I often feel like that when I look at the Moon even on ordinary days. I find it comforting to think that we all share the same one no matter where we are in the world.
